Gigable is a platform designed to connect businesses with reliable short-term workers. We tackled the challenge of improving the onboarding phase for businesses, from registration to the completion of their first paid gig, allowing them to engage in the customer success cycle. To address this, our team conducted comprehensive user research to identify pain points, benchmarked competitors to understand industry standards, and performed a UX audit of the existing user flow to find areas of improvement.
The design process began with research and evolved into wireframing three distinct solutions: one focused on personalization, another on branch management, and a third incorporating gamification. Our key design principles were pointing towards offering upfront user value and fostering gradual engagement to boost retention. To make sure the solutions produced significant outcomes, we came up with a plan to evaluate the impact based on conversion rates, the number of first gigs created, and the number of completed paid gigs.
